The Cabinet secretary for education Ezekiel Machogu has announced Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results today.

Reports have emerged that the exams were released at Moi Girls in Eldoret today Monday 8th January 2024.

In December, Machogu confirmed that the 903,260 candidates who completed exams in 2023 will know their fate in the second week of January 2024.

However unlike the previous years the 2023 KCSE results are available through the portal Kenya Education Management Information System (KEMIS) which was unveiled by the CS.

Parents and candidates will have to visit the portal and key in KCSE names and index numbers to access the results.

The 2023 KCSE results are significant as they align with the introduction of a new grading scheme designed to increase university admissions.

If released in Moi Girls on Monday, the occasion will mark the first time the ministry is releasing examination results outside Mtihani house in Nairobi.
